ANNFSU logjams traffic demanding release of cadres
KATHMANDU: All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU), Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus enforced chakkajaam today, demanding its activists arrested in course of an incident in Pashupati Campus, Chawahil Thursday be released.
Vehicular movement was brought to standstill for an hour from 8-9 AM this morning in front of the campus at Exhibition Road, putting forward various demands including immediate release of ANNFSU students put under bar, action against the guilty after finding out truth by investigating into the incident, scrapping fake cases against ANNFSU, among others.
Police nabbed ANNFSU cadres including Bijaya Rai for their alleged involvement in an attack on Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) activists.
At least 25 students were injured in a scuffle between ANNFSU and NSU at Pashupati Campus in Chawahil. RSS
