ANA meet to start on July 29
The conference of the organization of Nepali nationals residing in the U.S. is going to be held from July 29, 2012. The theme of the conference is- One Dream One Community, One Ceremony.
A three-member team has been constituted under the chairmanship of former General Secretary of the ANA, Dhiren Gurung, for making preparations for the conference.
In a press release here on Thursday, Central president of the ANA, Chhewang Lama, stated that this conference taking place at a time when the population of Nepali community in the U.S. is increasing would help spread the message of brotherhood among the Nepali community.
As part of the conference interaction would be held on various topics, Nepali cultural programmes presented and various competitive games held, the press release stated.
Some 5,000 Nepalis living in various states of the U.S. are expected to attend the three-day conference. The ANA was established in 1983. RSS
