Amid ripples of Prez’s move, big three parties sit for discussion
Amid protest from the ruling parties and welcome from the opposition parties regarding the President’s move of calling for the consensus government on Friday, the main three political parties- UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN (UML)- in the presence of Prime Minister Dr Babu Ram Bhattarai is underway at the Singhadurbar.
Three big political parties have begun a meeting recently, first after the President called for consensus government.
The meeting convened is said to discuss upon the President’s move and way-out for the possible political and constitutional crisis, it is learnt. The meeting has been called without letting know the information to the media-persons.
Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Vice-Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Congress President Sushil Koirala and Vice-President Ram Chandra Poudel and UML’s Chairman Jhalanath Khanal and Vice-Chairman Ban Dev Gautam have participated in the meeting. Even the Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has participated in the meeting.
