“Alternative of Koirala for PM could be sought from our party”

Ruling out the possibility of the formation of a national consensus government under the leadership of an independent candidate, CPN (UML) leader KP Sharma Oli has said that an alternative to the Congress President for the prime ministerial candidate could be sought from his party itself.
Speaking at a press meet organized by Press Chautari Nepal, Banke chapter here today, leader Oli said it would be beneficial for all the political parties if a consensus government is constituted under the leadership of Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala.
New election under the leadership of the incumbent government is not possible under any circumstances, he argued.
The UML leader said participating in the election headed by the incumbent government, which has already lost the moral and constitutional grounds, was like surrendering before him.
