Agro fair ends with transaction worth Rs. 100 million

KATHMANDU: The second international agro fair concluded here today, drawing around 43,000 visitors and leading to transaction worth Rs. 100 million.
The fair that began on Thursday saw the participation of India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, China, Israel, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and host Nepal. It was organized with the objective of promoting modernization, commercialization and mechanization of the agriculture sector.
The event was hosted jointly by the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project in collaboration with Media Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Nepal Agriculture Cooperatives Federation, among others.
