After major parties failed for consensus, Prez calls all-party-meeting

KATHMANDU:
After the major political parties failed to come up with consensus despite of President Dr Ram Baran Yadav’s repeated calls, the head of the state has called an all-party-meeting for giving an outlet to the country from the current crisis.
President Dr Yadav has invited the leaders to the President’s official residence Shital Niwas for 9 AM on Monday of all parties representing the dissolved Constituent Assembly.
Releasing a notice today, the President Office has informed that the leaders of the parties have been invited for the discussion. President Dr Yadav has made a call for the political parties for recommending the Prime Minister of national consensus on Mangsir 8 for the first time according to the Article 38 of Interim Constitution of Nepal. The President have issued the call for five times repeatedly following the request of the political parties with a promise to forge much anticipated national consensus.
Though the leaders of the major parties have been claiming that they are close to the deal for the national consensus, such consensus has remained elusive so far.
