5 injured in Police, protestors clash at Sallaghari

BHAKTAPUR:
The protestors of the opposition parties have clashed with the Police in Sallaghari today.

Five protestors have injured while the police baton charged upon them while they were waiting for the Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai to staged the black flag on the way to Bhaktapur for his party’s district convention. The Police have said that they retaliate the protestors when the latter pelted stones upon them. Though the protestors were demonstrating from the early morning at Sallaghari against the Prime Minister at Sallaghari, the latter changed his route to Sanothimi to reach the program venue.
The Police have tightened the security of the Bhaktapur following the PM Dr Bhattarai’s visit and the opposition’s protest.
