5.5 magnitude tremor rocks far-western region

KATHMANDU:
An earthquake has hit far-western region at 1:30 on today afternoon with its epicenter in the northern parts of Bajura district. The tremor has been felt in Bajura including the nearby districts Dadeldhura, Kailali, Bajhang and Baitadi.
National Seismological Centre has confirmed that the tremor recorded at 1:30 this afternoon of 5.5 Richter scale with its epicenter in the northern area of Bajura district. US Geological Survey, in its online, has mentioned that the tremor was recorded with the epicenter lying 100 kilometers north of Dailekh and 68 kilometers from Jumla.
However, no human casualties or property damages have been reported yet.
