4.3 Magnitude Earthquake jolts Far-west Nepal
BAITADI: The 4.3-magnitude earthquake was experienced in the far-western mountainous region Nepal this evening.
The earthquake shock was felt in Baitadi, Darchula and Bajhang districts, Far-west Nepal at 9.08 pm on Saturday night.
According to Technical Assistant of Surkhet-based Regional Seismological Centre, Tirtha Raj Dahal, the earthquake measuring 4.3-magnitude occurred having the epicenter in Bajhng headquarters, Chainpur.
Earlier, the earthquake measuring 3.6 in Richter scale had rattled the bordering areas of Baitadi and Darchula on April 9. In addition, aftershock had occurred having the epicenter at Lipulek of Darchula three times on April 7.
Aftershock has been recurrently taking place following the occurrence of Gorkha Earthquake in April 2015.
