316 climbers scaled Mt Everest
KATHMANDU: Over 300 mountaineers have reached the highest peak of the World, Mt Everest or Sagarmatha until 9th day of this season.
According to liaison officer at the Mt Everest Base Camp Gyanendra Shrestha, 316 have so far successfully climbed the Everest. He added that over 40 climbers reached the peak today itself.
Shrestha also shared that few numbers of climbers are left to summit the peak and they are currently in III and IV camp.
A total of 364 climbers from 38 teams had acquired permission to scale the Everest this season.
