21 leaders, cadres of Biplav-led Maoist group arrested
DANG: Police on Wednesday night arrested 21 leaders and cadres of Netra Bikram Chand group from Dang district.
According to the District Police Office, Dang, such number of leaders and cadres were arrested from a jungle at Mugretakhola of Rajpur rural municipality-4 in the district. A police team arrested them while acting on a tip-off that a meeting of Biplav-led group was taking place there.
The arrested are mid-western command in-charge Birjung Chand, central member and Rapti bureau in-charge Subas Batha, among others. Birjung is elder brother of Biplav.
