2 killed, 15 injured in bus accident
PALPA: At least 12 people were killed, and 15 others injured when a bus skidded off the road and fell around 150 meters at Dharadi forest of Humin in Rambha Rural Municipality, Palpa, today morning. The deceased include nine men and three women.
Of the injured, 10 are undergoing treatment at Tansen-based United Mission Hospital. The bus (Lu 2 Kha 975) was heading to Rampur from Tansen with employees of local Laxmi Saving and Credit Cooperative Limited, Tansen, onboard, who were on an observation tour. Difficulties have involved in rescue operation due to rains since last night, said the police.
