10+2 teachers roll back protests

KATHMANDU: The teachers associated to the Community Teachers’ Union, Nepal, have decided to fully cooperate with the government to conduct the examinations of higher secondary level following the talks with the government.
Representatives of the Higher Secondary School Board (HSEB), Member-Secretary Bhim Gurung and Examinations Controller Durga Prasad Aryal, and leaders the Union held talks regarding the teachers demands on Saturday evening.
According to Member-Secretary Gurung, the representative of the Teachers’ Union agreed to call back their protest programs and cooperate with the officials to conduct the examinations following the talks. RSS
