1 dies, 4 injured in tanker accident

CHITWAN: A person died on the spot and four others were injured in a road accident at Panchkilo of Chandibhanjyang-9 in Chitwan district along Narayangadh-Mugling road section today.

The deceased is Ram Krishna Rijal, 55, of Jogimara-1 in Dhading district, according to police.

The accident took place when a tanker (Na 1 Kha 8222) heading towards Narayangadh from Kathmandu fell some 100 meters off the road.

Bharat yadav, 50, of India, working at Manakamana in Gorkha district, Sharan Lama, 41, of Basamadi in Makawanpur district, Ajay Kumar Singh, 37, of Raksirang-2 in Makwanpur district and Dal Bahadur Gurung, 70, of Kurintar in Chitwan district were injured in the accident, said police.

Police said that all the injured are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Medical College. RSS
