World Cricket League Championship: Nepal defeated by 7 wickets

KATHMANDU: Nepal lost to the UAE by 7 wickets in the World Cricket League Championship. In the match that concluded this evening at the Sheikh Jayad Stadium of the UAE, Nepal posted a total of 221 runs riding on half centuries by Sharad Bheswakar and Gyanendra Malla.
In reply, the home team surpassed the total in 45.5 overs at the loss of three wickets. A total of eight countries are taking part in the championship.
At the end of 13 games under the championship, Nepal has collected 9 points to remain in the sixth position.
The two countries will meet again on Friday for the second match.
