Shailesh from India wins wrestling match held in Nawalparasi
NAWALPARASI: Shailesh Pahalwan of Gorakhpur India won the title of International Wrestling Tournament held in Bhujahawa, Nawalparasi Sunday.
Shailesh and Radhe Pahalwan from Baharaich, India battled over the title in the final. The athlete clinching the title was awarded Rs 5,000 and a medal while the first runner- up went home with Rs 3,000 and a medal.
In the competition organised on the occasion of the Dashain festival by the local Nawadurga Puja Committee, Bhujahawa, a total of 30 wrestles took part.
