Fire destroys two shops in capital

KATHMANDU: A fire caught two electronic shops at Indrachowk in the Capital early morning on Saturday.

Police said property worth Rs 5 million was destroyed when the inferno engulfed the shops belonging to Surya Narayan Manandhar and Binay Manandhar.

Electronic short-circuit was blamed for the fire that broke out at 2 am. A fire engine, police and local residents doused the blaze at 5 am.
