KC was picked up by the party as its representative for the elections slated for October 14 this year.
Leuven is a prestigious city popular more as an intellectual hub with a population of ninety-five thousand from over 154 nations. Nepalese population in this area is the sixth largest.
KC said that his party was focusing on three major task in its manifesto. First is to provide affordable living conditions in the city that has recently witnessed hike in general amenities.
Next is to develop the city as exemplary environment friendly cities with eco-friendly infrastructures.
And another is to promote mutual and racial harmony in the city so as to attract citizens from other parts of the country to reside there.
KC further informed that the party has focused on establishing direct relationship with community members and has organized a dinner cum interaction on June 24 at Bruel Park, for all Nepalese residing in Leuven.
All Nepalese residing in Belgium have been urged to register themselves in the voters list before August 1.
KC, who hails from Parbat district of Nepal, have been residing in Belgium for the past 14 years and has been actively involved in communal and social services through his affiliations to numerous organizations.
