Dr KC ends hunger strike after 5-point agreement with govt
KATHMANDU: Dr Govinda KC will be ending his 14th hunger strike after reaching a 5-point agreement with the government on Friday evening.
The talks were held between the government and the representatives of agitating Dr KC. It was held among Health Minister Dipak Bohora, Chairman of National Planing Commission Swarnim Wagle and Dr Avishekh Raj Singh at the Teching Hospital Maharjgunj.
The environment for making Dr KC end his fast was created continuing the appointment of Dr Jagadish Agrawal as the dean of the Institute of Medicine.
