More challenges in RPP party unification

KATHMANDU: Senior leader of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Pashupati Shumsher Rana has warned that party unification would face challenges if the party leadership failed to exercise democratic spirit.

Addressing a party cadres’ meet on Friday in the capital city, Rana demanded to scrap the nominations made by party chairman in the central committee just ahead of the party’s central working committee meeting.
He also said that the party should back the constitution amendment bill as the party has already decided to second the amended proposal.
Internal disputes have deepened in the RPP after the failure to constitute the directive committee even after four months of the party’s unity general convention. The committee was proposed to offer suggestions to the party’s leadership during the unification of the then RPP and RPP-Nepal. RSS
